Dental X-Rays
|
• | Fast, Instant Images: The digital format means that there is no film processing. We can take the images and have them instantly appear on a screen near your chair. With instant results, that means if we missed the spot we wanted to see, we would know right away. |
• | High Resolution Images: Digital images are taken at a much higher resolution. No tinier grainy x-rays, we can show the patient large images that we can zoom in and out of to help them see and understand what we are looking at. |
• | Digital Format: Having images in digital form is significant. It means that we can digitally save your images, they will never be lost, we can compare new images to previous images, and should you need a second opinion, we can easily email them to the office with the click of a button. |
• | Reduced Radiation: X-rays take radiation to capture. Traditional x-rays used a level of radiation that was deemed safe by the American Dental Association, but it still made many patients uncomfortable. Digital x-rays use significantly less, around 70% less. We can capture digital x-rays with much less radiation exposure, meaning our more sensitive patients can sigh relief. |
